Central Park, NYC

I had an unusual experience today: I ran into a friend while walking through Midtown.

That might not seem a big deal to you, but in busy, crowded Manhattan I hardly ever see anyone I know in public places.

I deal with that by seeking out places where I am likely to know people, like church and certain stores. What a joy it is to be greeted by name or by a smile of recognition.
