Morning Walk Media Story

Morning Walk Media Inc. began in 1993 as a small dream: produce quarterly booklets of meditations and sell them to anyone interested in Tom Ehrich's writings.
Since then, the dream has grown. Journey Publishing Co. moved from book format to e-mail and began to develop a worldwide audience. It sponsored "Listening Church" workshops, in which congregations were encouraged to listen to constituents and the world around them. That is, to be "customer-driven," not "provider-driven."
In 2007, Journey launched the Church Wellness Project, a best practices guide to nurturing healthy congregations. Tom Ehrich began to lead training events around the country and overseas. and began a weekly column in "Presbyterian Outlook."
In 2007, Morning Walk Media Inc. was formed to bring both On a Journey and Church Wellness into a single enterprise. In 2009, the Multichannel Church joined this stable of ministries. Tom Ehrich expanded his consulting work.
The dream, as currently articulated, is threefold:
to engage a growing audience of readers
to help congregations become healthy, grow and prosper
to serve the growing constituency that yearns for God but outside Sunday church
Morning Walk Media is based in New York City.
